Last call for participation in the 35th Annual ‘Humpa Humpa Te Ta Re’ Picnic on Sunday September 21st in Williams Park, Glastonbury, CT.
IT IS ALL GOOD: LOCATION, ACTION, FOOD, BEVERAGES, MUSIC, DOOR PRIZES AND THE CAMARADERIE OF BMW CVC MEMBERS.
Contact John or Barbara Bisset to RESERVE YOUR PLACE and VOLUNTEER to bring an EXCITING SALAD OR A DELECTABLE DESSERT.
Bruce Zepke will bring the German music and Tony’s Imported Auto Service will supply the Oktoberfest libations.
The Humpa is free again this year, but we encourage you to donate $5.00 per adult to CT ALS, our charity this year. Donate more if you can. We can’t think of a better place to spend your money!
Now is indeed the time to email or phone John or Barbara Bisset to RESERVE YOUR PLACE and VOLUNTEER to bring an EXCITING SALAD OR A DELECTABLE DESSERT.
The Connecticut Valley Chapter will provide wursts, dogs, and burgers, bread and rolls, condiments, dishes and utensils, plus nibbles and beverages. When you call your reservation, tell us what you want to bring so we can balance the menu and provide a head count for the CVC purchases.
Your CT Valley Chapter will provide a wide variety of Door Prizes. You can also contribute door prizes from yourself or your business. Do you have a green thumb? You could donate 2 hours of weeding or repotting. Are you a great cook? You could donate a pie or a casserole. We once won several hours of auto detailing. Could you give a golf or tennis lesson? Be creative!
